My views on Interracial Marriage classic (2011)

First off, I want to say that I like people of all races and it doesn't matter to me if you are black, white, Hispanic, etc. I look at the character of a person and if that person is a good person then I am going to try and be a good friend to them. I for one don't care one bit if a woman is my race or not. As long as me and her love each other and care about each other then that's all that matters to me. A lot of people have different views on interracial marriage because people are influenced by either their peers or parents that they should marry inside their race.

I am taking African American History at school and we had a chance to discuss about how blacks are dating outside their race and even marrying outside their race. I for one like to be around people of different races because I feel like I am learning things new all the time. Whether it's small talk or just talking in general I always feel good when I talk to people of different races. You always have to have an open mind and that's why people are feeling more and more comfortable when they talk to people outside of their race. I for one find out the people tend to be more friendly in the South than in the North where I'm from. People will always try to judge you and form an opinion but they are the same people that would do the exact same thing if they were in the same situation you are in. I have met a lot of nice Hispanic women, a lot of nice Caucasian women, a lot of Indian women, etc.

I seem to get hooked up by people more outside of my race than inside of my race. My teacher brought up a good point because I am black and he noticed how a lot black folks have prejudice going on within their own race. I see what he is talking about when I talk to people of my own race. I don't care what people think about me because I make up my mind who I want to conversate with. I just think personality wise people are finding out that people who are from different backgrounds compliment each other very well. I grew up to love everyone of all races and I know that everyone is not going to get along.

The main thing that I look at when I talk to a woman is if she has a great personality, beautiful, humble, is a lot of fun, and expresses herself. To me, there are women like that in all races. It shouldn't really surprise people when I defend interracial marriage. God made us of a different race but his ultimate goal is that he loves us all the same because he created us in his own image.

Is God against interracial marriage and race mixing?

I'm Pro-Interracial marriage and this message confirms it! I grew up around people of different races' all of my life. I've talked to different girls/women of all races' and what I got from it is that whoever the Lord have for me will be my wife no matter what race she is. God loves all of us the same no matter what race.
